I started this channel quite by accident, I was recording my games to do film study and get better. I did not have time or money for lessons from pro pickleball coach, so I started watching all my screwups. People that I was playing with started to ask if they could watch too and I said sure. That helped all of us a lot to improve our game, strategy, mental toughness, and techniques. Now we have new pickleball videos published several times a week. We occasionally have pro pickleball players on the channel. Mostly its non pro pickleball players on their quest to 5.0 pickleball. We have all levels come through the channel, but we concentrate on the 4.0 pickleball, 4.5 pickleball and up to 5.5 pickleball with the pros.

The criteria is if it is fun to watch. As for skill level, it's clear that you actually have no clue as most people, which is normal by itself unless you expose it to public. This one demonstrates pretty solid defense. If you do not understand it, then you just do not understand it.

My wife and I recently got into pickleball. We went to a beginners course consisting of 1 class per week for 1 hour for a total of 4 classes. We learned the basics and after taking the classes, we decided to go to our local indoor pickleball place and sign up for beginners drop-in play. The guy at the counter at check in said we can practice on one of 4 courts before the drop-in time begins. We arrived at 4:40pm so we had until 5:00pm before the drop-in play began. I met another couple and they asked me and my wife if we wanted to hit the ball back and forth. We explained that we had never played a game before and asked them to be patient with us as far as the scoring and the flow of play was concerned and they said no problem we will help you guys. Unbeknownst to me, 5:00pm arrived and some Karen came over to us and started being rude telling us to get off of the court because we had to put our paddles up in the 4 paddle holders on the fence. Obviously, she never has seen us before and probably knew we were new drop-in players but she was so damn rude. It pissed me off. I told her that the guy at the counter told us we can practice and we lost track of time. All she had to do was say something like, "Hi I know you guys are new but typically at the time of drop-in play you have to place your paddles in the holder." If she handled it that way, no problem. Some of the players we were playing against or being paired with were not nice at all and I thought to myself, "It's pickleball for fucks sake, what's wrong with these people?" It seems like every time we play pickleball and so far we have played on 4 or 5 different occasions since, but there is always some drama happening with either try hards, rude people, bossy know it alls or some other shit. If you are this guy or this Karen I am describing, "IT'S FUCKING PICKLEBALL" calm the fuck down already. We're supposed to have fun, get along, share the space, be respectful and understand the room. If you see newer people, lighten up! There's my pickleball rant. Can't wait for "That guy" or the Karens to reply!
